The BR-SS-I is a compression set production packer that is run above another retrievable packer or permanent seal bore packer to isolate a zone between the tools for treating, injecting, producing or to isolate casing holes or perforations. Simple design and straight pick up release makes the BR-SI an ideal cost effective packer for isolating zones in low pressure applications.
Coatings can be applied for corrosion resistance in waterflood applications. Internal bypass allows pressure equalization before the slips are unset, providing safety and reliability.
