The BR-TOD Tubing Fluid Drain Valve provides a means for communication between the tubing and the annulus. A differential pressure in the tubing activates the valve. This differential pressure acts against an area until sufficient force shears the shear screws and moves the piston downside. After it opens, the fluid can be drained from the annulus prior to pulling the tubing string.
