BRSSD-XONE Non-elastomeric Sliding Sleeve

The communication device BRSSD-XOEL Sliding Sleeve has a ported inner sleeve that may be opened or closed using a shifting tool and conventional coiled tubing or slickline techniques. As the sleeve is opened, equalizing perforations in the inner sleeve equalize pressure between the tubing and casing annulus.This SSD is shift down to open.

The BRSSD-XOEL Sliding Sleeve uses common machined parts that allow the shift-open direction to be changed from down-to-open to up-to-open by simply substituting different sub ends.

The BRSSD-XOEL Sliding Sleeve is used to establish a means of communication between the tubing string and the casing annulus for single-tubing or multiple-tubing string completions. The BRSSD-XOEL Sliding Sleeve may be used for directing flow from the casing to the tubing in alternate or selective completions. Other applications include killing a well, spot acidizing and fracturing, or equalizing pressure between an isolated formation and the tubing string.

The Non-Elastomeric seals with stands high temperatures and high pressuer in sour well environment due to their construction. Differet engineering plastics such as peek, Ryton, Teflon and many more are used for seals.

This Sliding Sleeve is available in various metallurgy like AISI 4140, L-80, 9Cr or 13Cr.
